Men often work long hours and disconnect from others, which can lead to anxiety and depression. Counselling can focus on balancing demands, setting boundaries and building resilience so you feel grounded again.
Anxiety, depression and anger are among the most common reasons men seek therapy. We use evidence-based methods to help you regulate emotions, challenge negative thoughts and restore hope.
Relationship issues can stem from communication difficulties, intimacy concerns, finances, or general stress within the partnership. Counselling helps you strengthen connection, resolve conflict and build healthier patterns. Or provide support and guidance when ending a relationship.
We provide support for navigating fatherhood and co-parenting, strengthening your relationship with your partner and children, and raising confident, resilient children with a healthy understanding of themselves and others.
Men of all orientations and identities are welcome; we respect diversity and provide affirming support for LGBTQ+ men.
If you're exploring sexuality or gender identity we can help you redefine what strength means and explore identity with confidence.
Counselling can help you slow down, clarify what matters, weigh your options and take practical next steps when you feel stuck, uncertain or pulled in different directions.
Pressure to provide and succeed can lead to burnout, impostor syndrome or purposelessness. Sessions focus on stress management, work-life balance and creating a fulfilling career path.
Many men struggle to express hurt and sadness and instead push emotions away or lash out. Learn strategies to understand your emotions, communicate openly and respond constructively.
Whether you've experienced loss, trauma or relationship betrayal, Men's Space can help you process painful experiences and find a path toward healing.

Physical health challenges don’t just affect the body. Whether you’re living with persistent pain or frequent headaches, recovering from an injury, or adjusting to a health condition, these experiences can affect your mood, relationships, confidence and daily life. Counselling can help you navigate the emotional impact, develop practical ways of coping, and support your wellbeing alongside appropriate medical care.
Every person’s circumstances and goals are different, so support is always tailored to your individual needs.
Counselling is not always about solving serious challenges.
For some men, it’s about personal growth, motivation, decision-making, or simply having a private space to fully open up and talk things through.
Whatever your goals are, Men’s space can help you move forward with greater clarity, resilience and confidence.
We also offer a complimentary intro call with a counsellor so you can ask any questions, understand the process, and feel comfortable before booking a session.
Many men find it difficult to talk about what’s going on, whether because of expectations, stigma, or simply not knowing where to start.
Men’s Space exists to provide a dedicated counselling service where men can speak openly, be understood, and work through challenges in a way that feels practical, respectful and free from judgement.
We welcome men of all backgrounds, cultures, identities and life experiences.
Our aim is to provide a safe, inclusive and culturally responsive environment where every client feels respected and heard. We recognise the importance of culture, family, community including connection to Country for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and we strive to provide counselling that is sensitive to those perspectives.
We also welcome LGBTQ+ clients and recognise that every person’s experiences and circumstances are unique.
After years of working with men from diverse backgrounds, I saw how stigma and outdated ideas of masculinity stop many men from seeking help. I founded Men’s Space to create the environment I wished existed: friendly, down‑to‑earth and focused on positive action.
I am a fully qualified member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Born and raised in Sydney, I bring over 40 years of life experience in the areas of relationship and separation support, fatherhood, LGBTQI+ specific issues, anxiety and depression, motivational and decision making assistance.
As a male counsellor providing specialised mental health support for other men, I understand and can relate to the challenges faced by men in current times.
My professional approach uses “Person-Centred” therapy, as a basis for support, this means you, the client, are the expert in your own life to lead the conversation and find your own solutions. My training includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), amongst other proven treatment approaches.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, fatherhood stress or identity questions, I’ll meet you with empathy, support, and real‑world tools. Together we’ll define what strength means for you and build a life that feels authentic.
We offer a complimentary introductory call to understand your needs, and give you the opportunity to ask questions, gain clarity, and feel comfortable before committing to a full session.
Select this option if you’re ready to book your first full session. You’ll be guided to choose your preferred location or telehealth option next.
